Finding Us
From the City Centre, West, East or South.
Find the Westgate Baptist Church on Westgate Road. We are on the side to the right of the chuch, so turn off Westgate Road here!
Passing by the narrow area in front of the Westgate Baptist Church (which has a rather sharp bend, especially coming from the city centre direction and can be very tight especially on Sundays. An alterative route would be to go around the back of the church).
Passing by the front of the chuch off Westgate Road, then turn left onto Prospect Place.
We are here!
We are the anonymous small white building on Prospect Place, near to the old listed building known as 'Prospect House' which originally was a doctor's surgery.
Opening Hours
The Ark is Open between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a Saturday and Sunday to those genuinely interested in homing a cat or dropping off supplies or donations.
At all other times/days, visits must be by advance appointment only.
Please note that we NO LONGER admit visitors simply to look around or to see the cats. Neither does the Ark regularly admit volunteers any longer.
